Well where do I start? Like you, I’m studying in Glasgow. I currently live in Finnieston and a year ago I completed a HNC in Professional writing skills at City of Glasgow College and now I’m in my second year of studying digital marketing at HND level. I come from up north (wait you say, there’s somewhere beyond Stirling and Perth?) I grew up very near to Loch Ness. I am 21 (and people still think I’m 17. No seriously, I got told in the Dram in Kelvinbridge last week that I wouldn’t be able to stay and have a drink because apparently due to me being ‘under 18’, I had to have a meal to be allowed to stay and the kitchen was shut. The waitress was really embarrassed to discover I was 21. And all I wanted was a cup of tea. ) But enough of that boring stuff. If I had to describe myself in one sentence it would be I like nothing more then good food, a warm hearth and all the comforts of home.
Here’s some other interesting facts:
Here’s me on my holidays this year in Italy:
Best meal I can cook: Macaroni cheese or slow cooked pulled pork. I also make a mean love of cheesy plait bread.
Best dessert: Bakewell tart
Worst cooking fail: That time I made a birthday coffee cake with an egg substitute (cause of an egg allergy) and it was completely flat and disintegrated as I ate it.

Other hobbies: Crafty things (knitting, tapestries, felt, acrylic painting to name a few), Scottish Country dancing, singing in a choir, spending time on Pinterest, swimming. The puffin in the photos below I made from felt. (Look up needle felting on Pinterest for more info.)

Favourite place in Glasgow: The Necropolis or Kelvingrove art gallery (all my photos so don’t go nicking them)
Favourite TV show: Friday Night dinner, The Crown, Game of Thrones, Stranger things
Most used social media: Pinterest (feel free to give me a follow at florah_236 and I’ll give you a follow back)
Fun fact: I am the most unoutdoorsy person ever, a bit of a wimp sometimes. Hearty is not my middle name. I also don’t travel very much due to my dislike of humidity, bugs and dodgy food. I am also mostly teetotal, for various reasons. I’m also a massive Tolkien fan, ask me anything and I can tell you.
